Thanks for the interest in my 17 day at a time venture. After 2 kids and many years of eating junk food and not exercising I have found myself 70 pounds overweight, having high blood pressure and being Pre-diabetic. Time to change....
The 17 day diet by Dr. Mike Moreno worked for me a few months ago...I lost 23 pounds in 51 days (3 cycles). Then I got off the diet because I know everything, lol and have gained back 3 pounds. So now I find myself still looking to lose 50 pounds.
This blog will be a way for me to hold myself accountable, if you happen to stumble upon it...please leave me a message that will give me that extra something I may need that day. So now the doctors say that putting it in writing helps to make it work, so here go's....
I would like to, no I WILL lose 50 pounds by June 1, 2013. That gives me 268 days (which is 15 cycles or 38 weeks). Broken down that is just over a pound a week...do-able right? Ok! Ok! I CAN DO IT!!!!!
Today is day 3 as I alluded to in the title, I started on Tuesday. I will not be putting my weight on here instead I will be starting at the 50 pounds and subtracting from there. Starting at 50 pounds on Tuesday, I weighed in on Wednesday (day 2) and was down 3.4 pounds, amazing right well....then I weighed in this morning and I gained a bit back. I am up .7 pounds. Added together my number for Day 3 is -2.7 pounds.
50 pounds - 2.7 = 47.3 to go.
Thanks for being here, each day I will weigh in and talk about what is working for me. I will also talk about the struggles of being a mom of two teenagers, a wife and a full time out of the home worker. Please leave me comments...or a kick in the butt.
